Fantastic sunsets are dazzling. Looking west towards the sunset you see Birch Point to the north and Point Whitehorn to the south.
• Once you are in a kayak out in the middle of the bay towards the east you can see a full expansive view of Mount Baker behind the Grand Bay condominiums. A great morning perspective to view the sunrise.
• The beach front is located at the mouth of Terrell Creek which is an estuary. Along the beach in front are three firepits. This immediate area hosts many great blue heron, bald eagles, Canada geese and gulls along with other pelagic birdlife. Seals and otter can be spotted on occasion and some years we have whales spouting and breaching in the Bay! Clamdigging, sand dollars, all there at lowtide.
